All photographs by Apple Tree Studios are copyrighted by the photographer. This certifies the photographer as the creator and owner of the images.

Stock photos are pre-existing images which were taken on speculation by the photographer, rather than being taken on commission or assignment specifically for the client.

You may NOT copy stock photographs without the photographer's permission.

The client purchases rights to specific uses of stock photos, not to ownership of them. If additional rights are needed by the client, they may be obtained from the photographer.

The usage license will authorize any copying necessary to the licensed use. No usage or copying beyond what is specifically agreed upon may be performed. Usage rights are not transferable.

All prints are normally labeled with a copyright notice in the margin or on the back. (Note that photographs are implicitly copyrighted even in the absence of such marking.) Photographs are routinely registered by the photographer with the US Copyright Office.
